Eight random players will receive an OP06 booster as a bounty. If you defeat a player with a bounty, you take the bounty. If you lose with your bounty, the winner gets it. Players who have a bounty at the end of the tournament will receive it as prize money.

Note: If two players with a bounty meet each other in a match, both players retain their bounty regardless of the match's outcome.

Tournament structure:

Round 1:
Players are paired randomly. You get 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw and 0 points for a loss.

Round 2:
Players with a win (1-0) are randomly paired against other players with a win. Players with a defeat (0-1) are paired with each other accordingly, as far as this is possible given the results/number of players.

Subsequent rounds:
Players will continue to be randomly assigned based on their win-loss record.

End of the tournament:
The tournament ends after a maximum of 6 rounds or as soon as a player is undefeated.

General tournament rules for the online tournament

1. Uniform username:
Use a consistent username for Discord, Limitless TCG and the OPTCG SIM.

2. Allocation of opponents and tables:
The allocation of opponents and gaming tables is done via the Limitless TCG tournament system. Use the Limitless TCG Chat on your match details page to exchange lobby ID with your opponent.

3. Conflict when reporting results:
Do not close the lobby in OPTCG SIM until the game result is correctly reported via Limitless TCG.

4. Aborting the connection to the OPTCG SIM
The simulator does not indicate which of the two players disconnected. If the connection is lost, open a support ticket.

5. Technical Difficulties & Inactivity:
If a player has problems with the internet or computer, which results in a delayed start of the match (5 minutes) or an interruption of the match, this will be considered a defeat for the affected player. If a player is inactive for 5 minutes, the game will also be considered lost for him.

6. Reporting Problems:
In case of problems during the tournament (e.g. connection problems, inactivity of the opponent, incorrect result reporting) create a ticket via the support channel. Don't use public chat.

7. Principle of fair play:
All players are obliged to show fair play - both in the game itself and when reporting the results after the match via the Limitless TCG system.
