Tournament structure:

Round 1:
Players are paired randomly. You get 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw and 0 points for a loss.

Round 2:
Players with a win (1-0) are randomly paired against other players with a win. Players with a defeat (0-1) are paired with each other accordingly, as far as this is possible given the results/number of players.

Subsequent rounds:
Players will continue to be randomly assigned based on their win-loss record.

End of the tournament:
The tournament ends after a maximum of 5 rounds or as soon as a player is undefeated.

Player name in the OPTCG SIM:
Please make sure your username in OPTCG SIM matches your Discord name.

Conflict when reporting results:
Please do not close the lobby in the OPTCG SIM until the game result is correctly reported via Limitless TCG. This allows you to prove the outcome of the game with a screenshot in the event of a dispute.

Allocation of opponents and tables:
The allocation of opponents and gaming tables is done via the Limitless TCG tournament system. As a player, you join the corresponding "table" in our Discord server after the allocation. You or your opponent creates a private lobby in the OPTCG SIM and shares the lobby password via the Limitless TCG Chat.

Inactivity:
If a player is inactive for 5 minutes, the game will be considered lost for him.

Technical difficulties:
If a player has problems with the Internet or computer, which results in a delayed start to the match or an interruption of the match, this will be considered a defeat for the affected player.

Validity of the game rules:
The game rules of the OPTCG Sim at the time of the tournament are decisive for the tournament. Any deviations of the OPTCG Sim from the official One Piece game rules must be accepted and have no influence on the match results.

Fair play:

Principle of fair play:
All players are obliged to show fair play - both in the game itself and when reporting the results after the match via the Limitless TCG system.

Consequences for violations:
If a player violates the fair play rules or attempts to cheat, CardCapital will exclude him from future tournaments.
